22 years has past and i'm still spinning.I dont really looked how much they might pay you,it's all about mutual respect and how people remember you and your vibes.I always ready to go on the deck when ever they invite me.For me Djaying is in my soul and i take it as a hobby (except paintballing).

My first Dj gig I got was when I was like 18 and I volunteered myself to play for a Dj who did not show up I felt it was my chance to take advantage. It was event called Final Destination at a church where peeps from different parts of the USA come to celebrate. Pretty much I was not nervous it was outside (cold night) I played Trance, to progressive tunes and more lets just say the church asked me to play for them for the next 3 days at the end alot peeps thanked me for playin even one tripped in front of me just trying to thank me. Finally due to etbacks I have not done any other gigs cause of college.

I used to try and take my records with me everywhere I went just in case someone had "Open Turntables" or allowed guest DJs in their club. Back then I was lugging two crates of actual records. These days with a compact laptop music library there is simply no excuse for not taking your stuff with you.

Even after Deejaying for a while at clubs a group of us started showing up at the local after hours club after our regular club gigs and after hearing us play for free One time we all became the resident DJs for the second room as our styles worked well together and we rotated every 30 minutes. People would follow us to the afterparty as soon as our clubs closed for the night. It was a pefect match for both us and the after hours club.
